starry eyed and happy christmas wishes

Happiest Christmas wishes to you all! Margolily is going to be in hibernation with some figgy pudding and gallons of mulled wine for the next few weeks! When I am not prancing around in my fantasy Christmas jumpsuit a la Sagittarius in Vogue…

…I may begin some icy, sparkle, headpieces inspired by snowflakes and constellations, a beautiful silver and ice blue piece is on the go for a January wedding in Australia! In the meantime, happy wishes to you for 2011…it’s going to be a good ‘un! Margolily will emerge from her squirrel hideaway to exhibit with the Glasgow Girls Wedding Guide on January 23rd. Margolily is also delighted to have joined the Granny Would Be Proud family too, yeeha! Love and wishes and thanks to each and everyone who joined margolily in a splendid 2010.

Could I design a headpiece with built in heaters? Customers in Ednburgh have been on the lookout for heated hairbands! Not sure my skills are up to this but it would be a way to look glam, be cosy and avoid hat hair! If  my hands warm up and the ice melts from the windows I may just get on to this!

You may remember that a little while ago margolily was spinning gold all night with Rumplestiltskin to create the finishing touches for Angela and David’s gorgeously, splendid wedding. Fascinators, veils, bouquets, buttonholes and corsages were all hand sewn by  margolily. Bride and her bridesmaids look stunningly happy and beautiful! Loved this commission and more fabulous photos are on their way! Yeeha!
